Bio

Torrin Staples and Brenda Mcknight met about four years ago in the local music scene, they have become good friends over the past couple years bonding over a love of the same music, and a passion for playing it. After a few jams and shared shows, they decided to form a Duo in March 2023 called “Metamorphosis.”

“Metamorphosis” was aptly named as Torrin and Brenda are both going through life and musical changes. They are enthusiastic, committed, and motivated, and have played numerous shows since March 2023. They have co-written three songs to date, with plans of continuing to write and perform. Torrin and Brenda are excited to start recording together with plans to release several singles, and an EP in 2025.
